Blaze of Perdition bassist Wojtek ("23") died and vocalist Paweł ('Sonnelion") is still in hard condition. Vizun is finally at home, but he has a damaged spine. He will be fine, but full rehabilitation will need some time. At this moment his recovering is the most important thing, so we of course have to delay our, booked on December, recording session. Vizun is a hard Son of a Bitch, he wants to play 666rpm blasts as soon as possible, so when he will be ready, we will immidiately start to record our next album, which of course will be our best So keep your fingers crossed to get both our friends fully recover!" (10.20) Hate Eternal drummer Jade Simonetto has left the band to further his education and post-music career. Comments Simonetto in a statement: "Being a part of HATE ETERNAL has been one of the greatest experiences of my life and parting ways is, by far, the most difficult thing I've ever had to do. Erik and JJ are older brothers to me and have always looked out for my best interests. Knowing I won't be touring and jamming with those guys is a hard pill to swallow, but I'm choosing to pursue my education and establish myself career-wise. I'll miss the world of diehard metalheads who come out to shows and support this great thing we all love. I wish Erik and JJ all the success in the world personally and professionally and have no doubt that Erik will discover some monster drummer we haven't yet heard of. It's what he does!" Adds Rutan: "It's been a great road traveled with Jade as a part of the band for six years, two very special albums and many, many tours across the world. Some of the best times and experiences in my life and career have been with Jade in the band. Jade is like a brother to JJ and I, and we are very proud of all we accomplished together as a band. His loyalty, dedication, and commitment to Hate Eternal is something we'll always be very grateful for and Jade will always be family. This has been in discussion for some time now and we all agreed that it was time for this to happen. We wish Jade nothing but the best with his future and thank him for all his hard work and tremendous contributions to Hate Eternal."

HATE ETERNAL drummer Jade Simonetto has left the band to further his education and post-music career.

(03.28) So as many of you know, Suffocation's second album "Breeding The Spawn" had great songs but horrible sound. Since then, the band has re-recorded one song from the album on each of their later albums. In an interview with Derek Boyer (bass) on "The Racket" on their March 26th, he states that the plan now seems to be once they've re-recorded the entire album (2-3 songs to go), they'll release an album, maybe called "Cloning The Spawn", that will be the entire album re-recorded, by assembling together all the re-recordings from their last 8 records. Now that would be cool. Check out the full interview if you can, Derek says some really interesting things about the complexity of being a good father and husband, and also trying to juggle a career as a professional musician, and how the different members of the band have dealt with this issue over the years.

The least I can say is that I cannot wait to share these last compositions with each of you. Everything from writing these new songs, traveling to NYC for rehearsals developing a new friendship with John, Kevin and Colin, three of the most talented people I ever jammed with……everything from this project was beyond stimulating artistically. (02.06) While I am no longer a fan of Lamb Of God, it would feel wrong not to mention that their vocalist Randy Blythe this week is on trial in the Czech Republic for manslaughter. While I wasn't there at the concert so I really don't know what happened, I have been in lots of mosh pits, and jumping on stage is an inherently dangerous thing to do. I'm sorry to hear about the death of the fan, but assuming no huge negligence is proven on the part of the band, his death strikes me as just one of those unfortunate things, he took a chance jumping on that stage, and it didn't work out. If I suddenly jump out into the middle of traffic, yes it would be ideal if all the cars are able to stop and not hit me, but it's hard to blame the car drivers if they are unable to stop in time. I hope Randy will be able to return home an innocent man at the end of the trial.

(01.02) Here's an update from Aeon on their drummer situation: "Arttu has decided to take a break from Aeon. He and his girlfriend are expecting twins in March and he wants to focus on his family at this point. We have no idea on how long this break will be, but there is no need to worry. We have an awesome drummer on our hands that will be replacing Arttu to 100%. This means that we will be touring as planned and take on more tours along the way. So please let's welcome the mighty Emil Wiksten (Blood Red Throan) as the current drummer of Aeon. His first stage appearance with Aeon will be on January 16 in London at Garage."
