are recording their 6th album.
(05.12) Vocalist Dave Ingram is leaving Benediction.
The band will use a few temporary replacements for live shows until
they choose a new permanent vocalist. Here's Dave's statement: "Some sad news ahead. Due to the current state of my
arthritis now, I have to withdraw as vocalist for Benediction. The
increase in pain, and the frustration it causes from its debilitation,
has led me to this disconsolate decision. I will be performing select
shows with the band during 2026 as I would like a chance to say
farewell and thank you to the fans who have supported us throughout the
years, so hope that all attending them will have an awesome time with
us. It saddens me greatly, and I hope that friends and fans alike will
understand. Thank you, it has truly been a blast!" Sorry to see you go
Dave, may you find a way to relieve the pain.

will be going on an indefinite hiatus. The band members have gotten too
busy with other life things.

have signed with Relapse records, and have recently finished recording
their 4th full length album.

(04.21) The Malum Process
announces the amicable departure of their bassist Samir, and welcome
their new bassist Antho Bailles. The band is also working on new
material.
(04.14) Suffocation
have fired drummer Eric Morotti due to scheduling conflicts with his
other band Sanguisugabogg. Sounds like the firing happened suddenly and
through email, which understandably frustrated Eric, who lashed out on
social media. No word on a permanent replacement yet, but John
Longstreth will be filling in for the next tour.

The Year", Canada's equivalent to the Grammies. Nice to see Canada
