1) ABOMINABLE
PUTRIDITY: This got so much replay over the last year,
it's just so heavy in spots, so blindly fast in spots, and great riffs.
2) DEPRECATION:
Cannibalistic
Decimation
A prime example of the brutal death metal genre, so low and gargled,
heavy as fuck.
3) NECROTICGOREBEAST:
Human Deviance Galore
One final brutal death metal album rounds out the top 3, from my
hometown no less, just heavy, fast, and with a huge guitar sound that
could strip paint off a house.

4) CANNIBAL
CORPSE: Violence Unimagined
Still proving they have it, one of their best albums in years.
5) FEAR
FACTORY: Aggression Continuum
A lot of classic riffs, and a fitting end to the era of Burt on vocals.
If the band continues, it just won't be the same.
6) ABORTED: Maniacult
Aborted doing their usual thing, so much speed and while the riffs take
a little longer to lodge in your brain, they get there eventually.
7) DIPHENYLCHLOROARSINE:
Subterranean Existential Warfare
Slow and sludgy, this is one of the heaviest bands I think I've ever
heard,
8) AEON:
God Ends Here
Aeon is back after a long hiatus, and all of the memorable riffs are
here, along with some great new blasphemous lyrical content.
9) CREEPING
DEATH: The Edge
of Existence
Ode to the 90s and Obituary, such great riffs.
10) HUMANITY'S LAST BREATH: Välde
Low and atmospheric, the perfect soundtrack to the end
of the world.
