WHAT WERE MY FAVORITE ALBUMS OF 2014?

	1) SOREPTION: Engineering the Void As good as old school Decapitated. I think I gave this first place just for the ending riff in the song title track, what a spectacular riff!!
	2) ABORTED: The Necrotic Manifesto Not as good as their last album, but I've found it showing up a lot in my weekly rotation.
	3) DEVIN TOWNSEND: Ziltoid 2: Dark Matters / DTP Sky Blue Ziltoid 2 was decent, but the new Devin Townsend Project CD is just fantastic.
	4) GARDENJIA: Materia Oscura Really atmospheric and odd sounding, draws you in with strange time signatures and off beat riffs.
	5) HADAL MAW: Senium Old school death metal in its finest, great debut for the band.
	6) INTERNAL BLEEDING: Imperium The band is back after a long hiatus and kick some serious ass.
	7) THE KENNEDY VEIL: Trinity Of Falsehood First album for this crazy death metal band, this one is just pure brutality.
	8) MISOPHONIA: Vinctus Short EP, but great work, some of the best elements of Meshuggah, Strapping Young Lad and Mnemic.
	9) NEAR DEATH CONDITION: Evolving Towards Extinction Another super fast death metal band, impressive riffs, writing and performance.
	10) OBITUARY: Inked In Blood Obituary proves that not only does old age not stop you from producing good records, but this CD sold a whole lot more than their previous albums. Maybe the band is back on the way up?

	PERIPHERY: Clear A short fun little EP, but it actually contains some of the band's best material.
	VOYAGER: V Another great album from the Australian prog masters, picks up where the last left off.
